Breeze recognised this was a challenge for several of their customers and created an innovative solution to not only keep track of the softcopy, but also the whereabouts of the hard copy as it moved around the business. Between Magellan’s unique RFID technology, which enables a stack of documents to be read at once and the Breeze RFID document management solution, this created a powerful result for our customers.
By integrating the software solution with the Magellan RFID products, the customer has the ability to keep instant track of documents as they are physically moved as well as being checked in and out of the clients SharePoint site.
Breeze developed a SharePoint plug-in to enable clients to take advantage of key functionalities of SharePoint such as workflows and document alerts to provide an end to end solution. Using Microsoft SharePoint this allowed organisations the ability to track paper based documents in real time through the use of the SharePoint v3.0 document management infrastructure.
